How To Find Quality Article Directories!

Over the years, I've been able to amass a large list of article directories. Unfortunately, my list may not be the right type of list for your business. See, my detailed list inlcudes websites that relate to the internet marketing & web development industry. Don't worry, there are many ways to collect a comprehensive list of article directories that relate to your business.

You Want To Create Two Different Types:

1) "Real Time" Submission Directories:

These article directories are the easiest to submit to. They usually have a simple contact form somewhere located within their website which you can easily copy & paste your article in. These article directories DO NOT require that you log into an author account that you register for.

2) "Author Account" Article Directories:

These types of directories are ever growing in popularity. I recommend that you utilize a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet in order to build this style of article directory list. I mention this simply because you will be required to login to an author account with a username & password. Isn't it much easier to use the same user name & password for all of them? Yes, but I wouldn't recommend it. If you want to keep it simple, try using 2-3 different passwords that are easy to remember.

Now that we have gone through the two types of article directory lists you'll need to create, we can now go and find article directories. I never go toof ar searching all over the place online, people have done the work for you!!!

All you need to do is find other people's great article directory lists! Once you've amassed a huge list, you can then spend some time once a month searching for new article directories that relate to your business.

You can find other article directory websites by following the link at the bottom of this article.
THERE YOU GO! In the future, the way to find these major lists is by searching for something like "Article Directory List(s)". Usually this type of search will deliver the kind of results you're looking for. When you think you have the "typical article directory list" which many authors have, it's now time to dig a little deeper and search for article directories that relate to the topics you write about. Here's how we do this... In google, search for these terms: I will use (Topic) to signify your own related topic or industry. Simply replace "topic" with your own topic instead.

- (Topic) Article Directory - (Topic) Article Directories - Submit (Topic) Articles - (Topic) Article Submission - (Topic) Related Article

You will need to dig a little by using these searches but sometimes, you might come across some directories that most authors don't know about. Overtime, this is how you'll be able to create a massive list of ezine article directories that relate to your business!

Powerful tool that continually brings targeted, consistent traffic to Web sites.

Article Marketing - What's The Best Formula For Massive Traffic?

There are many schools of thoughts as far as article marketing (generating traffic through the distribution of articles) is concerned. Some say it is better to post 200 articles on one directory while others say it is better to post one article in 200 article directories. This should help you decide which is best for you...

If you write very easily, it will be a wise idea to keep writing and submitting to just one very good article directory. You'll get a lot of benefits from your core skill -- writing.

However, if you can afford it or have someone who can help you out, you can submit to a few more select directories. If you have enough resources, you can push the envelope and post to as many as make sense.

But bear in mind the fact that if you choose to post in so many article directories, you may end up being your own worst enemy. Webmasters will not like to pick an article that is already on 200 other pages. I guess that's common sense.

So here's what will make it work for you: Do unique rewrites of each of those articles. By unique rewrites we are just talking about making them search engine unique.

All you have to do is alter up to three words or phrase per sentence. The key is to make sure that you don't have continuous strings of 8-10 words. Copyscape will easily pick those as duplicate content. But if you break the sequence with new synonyms and phrases, you'll do just fine.

That's more work I guess. But then you choose what's best for you. Posting on just one or on so many. And did I mention that there are tools and strategies that will help you do more of this with less effort?

Article Marketing - Let These Figures Motivate You

So why the noise about article marketing? It's a great traffic generation technique that suits those of us who like being in total control.

If you are one of those people who just wants to know what works no matter what it takes, article marketing is it as far as getting high quality traffic is concerned.

Look at these figures...

One high quality article on Ezinearticles will get around 10,000 views within one year. Let's say you have 100 such articles, that will translate to around one million page views within a year.

Let's just say that out of those 10,000 views per article only 500 visit your site, that will mean 50,000 visitors from 100 articles on only one directory.

What if you have those hundred articles on 100 different article directories? Let's say you get just 50 visitors on average per article per directory?

Let's do the maths...

100 articles x 100 different directories x 50 visitors per article per directory

You'll get 500,000 high quality visitors within one year. Now what if you submit 1000 over the same period? If you do, you'll get 5 million unique visitors!

Take note that we did not include visitors that will come from webmasters who publish your articles in their newsletters and/or sites. Also note that we did not count in the value you get in branding by all those page views. We also did not count in what such a high number of incoming links will do for your page rank and, therefore, free search engine ranking. You know that means a lot more traffic.

If you add up all that happens through article marketing, you'll see that it is a great way to get massive high quality traffic without breaking the bank.

However, there are ways to maximize your results using this method. I have a newsletter that teaches anyone who is committed to working smart and hard how to get 100,000 monthly within one year or less.

Article Marketing Strategy - TrafficThis is my article marketing strategy to increase traffic.

Start with writing articles, or have a ghostwriter do it for you, then submit your articles to as many article directories as you can, but especially the big ones, for your article marketing strategy.. Within your article you are allowed what is called an ‘author’s resource box’ where you provide some simple details about yourself. Provide your name, what you do, and tell the reader that they can get further information on what they have read by visiting your website, and then provide them with you URL.

It is important for your article marketing strategy that the URL relates exactly to what they have read. If you wrote about diamonds, don’t send them to your home page on gemstones, or the one on opals. Send them to the diamonds page. You get traffic when people click on your link for more information. But there’s more! You also get a back link from the article directory to your website, and the more one way links you get back to your site, the more chance you have of appearing high up in the Google listings for your topic.

That’s two steps already, achieved by doing only one thing in your article marketing strategy. But it gets even better! If readers of your article like it, and think that it’s worth copying and putting on their own website as content, then they must also include your ‘resource box’ and your name as author. You then get more one way back links from every single website that does this.

So there you are: three easy steps to increase traffic and all you have to do is write an article, and apply my article marketing strategy! You can easily submit them by checking out the internet for “article directories” and going through them one by one, or by trying some of the article submission software available. The choice is yours and you can find lots of software on the internet, some free, some very expensive.

Do this, say, ten or twenty times a week and imagine what traffic that could generate? Many people use article marketing as their only way to increase web site traffic to their site. However, that could be considered as cheating, claiming that article submission comprises all three ways. Your article marketing strategy can bring you more qualified traffic than you could ever imagine.
Article Marketing – How to Article Market to Increase Search Engine RankingsThe internet is all about marketing and increasing visits to web sites. Web sites are how we obtain our information via the Internet and by increasing your search engine ranking you will increase the number of traffic that is generated to your web site.

A simple form of doing this is to use article marketing strategies. Simply have keyword articles written that pertain to information on your website. Throughout the article attach a link with the key word that you have chosen this is a form of article marketing.

When reading the article, the reader will be able to click on the highlighted word and be directed to your website. Because a website is increased in the rankings by being clicked on this will help you in the search engine rankings. In return generating more and more traffic to your web page. Article marketing can be accomplished via social networks and SEO that you may not have thought of.
